Play games and had refreshments with Friends. This is a very nice facility.

The rec center here is pretty nice, right next door to the elementary school. The "park" behind is just an empty field with a fence around it. Lots of kids playing soccer and football from the rec center practice here. There is a playground by the rec center as well.

Today seven 8 year olds, who are registered to play athletics with the recreational center were denied the opportunity to use the basketball court to practice at EE Miller. A lady who has been identified as a part - timer got in the middle of the court and yelled at a parent and the children to put the balls down and that they could not use this public court. This lady remained blocking the court without regard. Eventually another staff was notified and begin to defend her , yet she eventually came and allowed the boys to practice. However, this behavior was very difficult to experience and unacceptable.

Patrons arrived at 8:30 and Lady on duty told them they had 3 min left. It was 8:45. Center close at 9:00pm Asked about the hours told they starts closing at 8:45. One can understand 5 mln before closing, hard pressed to believe a full 15 minutes. Will contact parks & recreation office to confirm.

Nice size rec center but beware after hosting a party, they want you to spit shine the floors! Being charged $50 out of our $200 deposit because "there was a little spill of cake and trash was not taken out of the bins" after the lady told us "don't worry about it dear, ill take it out, just put the bags by the back door." Which we did just that. Mop bucket was wheeled to us but we did not use it because no food or drink was spilled. Not our first time renting a room from them, but this is our first time having this issue. Was told I could write out my complaint and they'll have their supervisor review it. But more than likely it will be placed in the shredder...yes I'm pissed because the $200 was a loan that we will have to replace now.
